My family and I were having terrible (read: COVID quarantine) holidays. Gaven and Christian and the whole Goat crew rescued it, though. They accommodated us for a last minute table for New Year's Eve, and the experience was so awesome we rebooked for a large family dinner two days later. The menu is limited but they worked with us to get everyone delicious food and great drinks. We only booked for 2 hours but stayed for 4 and they didn't bat an eye. I can't wait to come back!

A unique style of Italian cuisine is was you get at Goat, located on one of the best streets for eating out in Chelsea. With the restaurant on the ground floor and DJ bar on the first floor, my friend and I had an amazing night. We enjoyed dinner on a Thursday night, and she suggested we sit by the window to enjoy the some people watching along Fulham Road. We began by sharing the starters, each delicious in their own way. I loved the burrata, datterini tomatoe and salsa verde, as the cheese was creamy and delicate. The tuna tartare with avocado, chilli, mooli and tamari was also great, with flavours that paired well with the fish. For my main dish, I chose the roasted monkfish, taggiasca olives, datterini tomatoes and capers. The monkfish melted in my mouth, while the mix of complimentary flavors was delightful. My friend opted for grilled rib-eye steak tagliata, 28 day aged, rocket and pecorino, and she was very satisfied with her choice. For dessert, we just had to try sticky toffee pudding with vanilla gelato, and the vanilla and blueberry cheesecake, which we also loved. After dessert we decided head upstairs to the bar to finish our wine and try some tasty cocktails while enjoying the music. It was a great night at GOAT, and I'd highly recommend the experience to everyone.

Stopped in on rainy day on the way back to the hotel, had a few lagers - really quite good, but did not try the food, yet, as had already eaten. The staff was more than pleasant, very friendly, look forward to going back and trying the pizza - they have a wood burning pizza oven, the scraps of pizza I did see looked awesome. Interesting looking menu altogether, will update again.

Upon walking the Fulham Road, there were so many options, but for some reason this place appealed to us. We stopped to look at the menu outside and the hostess popped open the door and handed us the menu and welcomed us inside. Nice job! Once inside, we found the location warm and inviting. The hostess seated us and took our coats. We were greeted by a waiter/manager I believe and the evening began. Specials were rattled off and decisions were made. We choose the meatballs, n'duja sauce and I choose the mushroom risotto as my main. The meatballs were very interesting. In a good way. The combination of pork and sirloin was a nice mix, which provided a grounded bite and the sauce, a tomato base, complimented the meatball perfectly. My main arrived, a healthy portion of risotto. The first bite was very tasty indeed, with an earthy tone and the risotto had a firm texture. However, as I continued to finish my main, the original tones seemed to fade a little. Not sure why this was exactly, but I would imagine drinking white wine with this probably wasn't the best choice. It was my choice and not that of the server. My friends enjoyed their selections as well.

I only visited Goat for drinks but... My friend knows the owner, so she booked us something special. At the top of the stairs, there's a SECRET DOOR that leads to a SECRET ROOM that has its own bar and a few select seats. Before I die, I want secret passageways in my home. So this was a dream come true for me. We sat in this dark, secret clubhouse for a couple hours and I enjoyed a cocktail that had absinthe. Of course, this room is secret, so you probably don't believe it exists. And I probably shouldn't have told you. But it was awesome.
